To use your mobile phone in the West Indies & French Guyana, make sure
it is compatible with the GSM 900/1800 network.
Most handsets being GSM 900 or 1800, you will connect with no difficulty
onto the Orange Caraïbe network.
If you are a customer from countries which operate on GSM 800 or 1900 (USA),
850 (Colombia), IDEN or CDMA (Japan & Korea) you will have to use an
adapted handset and insert your sim card.
Make sure that your operator has a roaming
agreement with Orange Caraibe
Enter numbers memorized in your directory under international format.
i .e : dial + or 00
+ country
code + area code + telephone
number
without the 0 at the beginning of the number.
Don't
forget :
- To bring your charger and adaptor if necessary (220 volts)
For prepaid customers
Bring your prepaid recharges with you. Check with your operator if the service
is available.
While roaming on Orange Caraïbe network, you will be able to access
to your voice mail and customer care.
Just dial the short code of the service.
If it doesn’t work, enter your customer care’s and your voice
mail long numbers into your mobile under the international format.
Set up your password to be able to check your voice mail.
